which are water-dwelling animals native to Mexico. This was part of its Aquatic Update, which introduced several new underwater features and creatures to the game.
Axolotls are small, salamander-like creatures with unique features such as their striking external gills, which they use to breathe underwater. They are also known for their ability to regenerate lost body parts, making them a popular aquatic pet.
In Minecraft, axolotls can be found in rivers, oceans, and any other bodies of water. They are passive mobs, meaning they will not attack the player unless provoked. When attacked, they will use their regeneration ability to heal themselves, making them challenging to defeat.
Players can also pick up axolotls using a water bucket and bring them to their home aquariums to keep as pets. These axolotls will have different colors, including pink, green, and brown, and each color has a 1 in 3 chance of appearing. Minecraft also added a rare blue variant, known as the Blue Axolotl, which players can obtain by breeding two axolotls.
Axolotls have special behaviors in the game. They are excellent swimmers and can chase and attack fish, squids, and other underwater mobs. They also have a passive trait of playing dead when in danger, mimicking their real-life defense mechanism.
Axolotls can also help players in battle, as they have the ability to regenerate and attack hostile mobs, making them useful companions when exploring underwater caves or fighting underwater bosses. They can also be bred using tropical fish.
Overall, the addition of axolotls to Minecraft adds a unique and playful element to the game. It also encourages players to learn more about these fascinating creatures and their native habitat in Mexico.
The real question is: why mojang always adds a mobs that no one knows about before the most popular animal
i have a pet one :3 (who is like on the verge of death, bros 8 years old)
sorry to be a nerd here but they do have a purpose when underwater in a fight with an underwater mob like a guardian and it can give you regen for 5 seconds(i think) so they do have a use
But Minecraft is real life
That’s bc no one new they existed
If lead lead to axolotl with you underwater and kill anymore it gives you regeneration just like in real life
Where’s today’s video?
I feel like with the multiverse finds out about this it will self-destruct
This dude doesn’t get it axolotl in real life are cute. So that applies to Minecraft too.
