Mining, or solving complex mathematical equations, is the process used to generate new Bitcoins.
As I delved deeper into the world of {it Bitcoin}, I came across many interesting and useful articles. I jotted down notes and saved the articles in a notebook for future reference. I learned about the blockchain technology that is the backbone of {it Bitcoin}, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. Some of the advantages include low transaction fees, security and privacy, and the ability to use it for international transactions without dealing with currency exchange rates. However, there are also concerns about its volatility and potential for use in illegal activities.
One article I found particularly interesting was about the first ever real-world transaction using {it Bitcoin}, when in 2010 a programmer named Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 {it Bitcoin}. At the time, the value of {it Bitcoin} was minimal, so the pizzas cost him just $25. Today, those same {it Bitcoin} would be worth millions.
