Paintings irl don’t all have one style, I don’t know why it should be a problem for Minecraft paintings to have different styles.

Imma throw something a little controversial down.

I think the Minecraft team should go on a hiatus. It’s great that they have new ideas, it’s great that they want to keep improving the game, but it’s coming at us too fast (in my opinion). I do know that the time periods between updates are beginning to increase, but I think this can be a good thing. This gives players like myself time to process and get used to the previous update and integrate it into regular gameplay before the next one comes out. But the problem that mojang is having is that the spaces between updates still aren’t large enough. When the wild update released I was still getting used to the caves and cliffs update. To me, it’s becoming a content overload.

TL;DR Minecraft is updating too fast

Keep in mind, this is all my opinion. I’m not trying to tell anyone how they should feel about something.

As with the texture update, I feel like this is someone that will improve over time. Back when the 1.14 changed the texture, I didn’t like it because of nostalgia bias. Now I can say that the new textures, or at least most of it, are indeed better.
