Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed this video as it is a little bit different. Also the fireball ability doesn’t work in the 1.0.0 version of 1.17 origins mod, they will probably fix the mod soon.

I had an amazing origin idea

The pet

Companionship:
(Secondary key) binds the pet to another player. That player becomes the owner. When the pet is within a close proximity to the owner, both players get buffs (strength, regen, etc.) The pet receives double the buff power. The pet can ride on the owners shoulders.

Small-Size:
The pet is 1/2 a block tall, and has less health. A speed boost and jump boost is applied.

Nomad Sleeper
Pressing (primary key) at night will cause the pet to sleep. No bed is required. Sleeping rules still apply (no sleeping in nether or end, when monsters are near by, etc.)

Owners authority
The owner has an extra inventory spot that holds a specific compass. Clicking the compass while in the inventory menu will teleport the pet to the owner. This has a cool down of 5 minutes.

Debuffs:

Fear of solidarity
When 40+ blocks away from the owner, the pet receives slowness and weakness effects.

Stubborn
Cannot sleep in beds or use resplendent anchors. May only use “Nomadic sleeping” when less than 40 blocks away from owner. This does not set a spawn point.

This is by far one of the best origin datapacks
it’s so great with the evolution mekanic

hey I have an origin thats pretty op take a look
+1. it is able climb walls because it has vines for arms
~2. it is the same height as the inchling normally but you can toggle regular height and inchling height because beans are small in size but can grow
-3. it has to go back to a water source to keep hydrated because beans need water
+4. it has a longer range because it has long vines for arms
-5. it cant use a shield because beans vine hands are slippery
+6. it can spawn a flower that gives you speed 3 in a 15 block radius
~7. beans have to get their food from the sun because they are a plant.
-8. beans are squishy and only have 6 hearts
+9. beans can spawn a chicken companion with a 20 second cool down because chickens and beans are friends
+10. beans take no fall damage because like a said beans are squishy
I really hope this custom origin gets made. This also took me a long time to write
+ means its good – means its bad and ~ means its neither good or bad 😀

I have an idea for a origin
Ashborn
The ashborn spawns in the neather
They can fly like the bee origin but has no slow falling
Their first ability ash: temporarily blinds any nearby players to either have an faster escape or quicker attack
The ashborn has slight fire resistance
Downsides are that they slowly take damage from water

Also I really liked the video I like the Idea of an evolving origin
